My daughter was broght in on Saturday 18 2026 and was pink slip but she need to go to a impatient but nurse called me get info and dr was soppost call me but never did and never told me were she went to . So when I check her mychart at 1.00 am in morning was discharged no info were dr sent her very disjointed and when I call the er all told me cant found any thing told me call the akron police since dudnt no were she was since she was discharged. So called back in morning it was probly 8 am er told me same thing but nurse called back from night shift and gave me info were my daughter was sent she was so amazing .nothing like a mother worry cause your daughters was discharge and sent some were and dr nevef called even know I'm the emergency contact for her .he was terrible

No stars was given(had to press that one to write the review).Sat in the E.R over 12 hours for an open room. The night staff kept telling me that no rooms were available. I have seen several others walk in this hospital, Akron General Cleveland Clinic took in patients that arrived after I have been waiting for a long time and discharged them shortly afterwards. I went to the front staff desk to tell them how long that I have been waiting.Their answer was that I have to be in a room. I told them that I understand that. I told them that I would like to be seen after waiting 12 hours so I can move on about things. I told them that I have a family at home that I would like to be back with. Not a care attitude from the staff. I highly do not recommend this hospital, not even to my worst enemy.

Though my wait in the ER was long I still appreciate the care I was given. Floor 4 was outstanding. Everyone was extremely busy. I could hear people yelling and being rude to them. Yet every time they came to my room they were smiling and very helpful. I experienced pain i wouldn't wish on anyone. They took really good care of me. Vivian, Gabi, Dee and the rest of the team thank you so much.

My father recently passed away at the hospital and on that same day my mom was treated in the ER. Both experiences demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and grace. A particular nurse named Patti helped me get through the last night with my dad. She was amazing. The chaplains and whole nursing staff treated us with kindness. I am thankful for the care and hearts of everyone including the custodial staff. On my hardest day, I was blessed by Patti and the whole staff.

My mother was admitted to the hospital for a pulmonary embolism and stayed for three days. We were truly impressed by the level of care she received. The nurses and the doctors went above and beyond to ensure her safety and comfort, consistently showing compassion and attentiveness.The pharmacy team and nurse case management staff were also incredibly helpful, taking extra steps to support her treatment and make sure everything was well coordinated. Their dedication made a stressful situation much easier for our family. Additionally, the hospital environment was excellent - the room was clean, well-organized, and efficient, and the food was surprisingly good. Overall, we are very grateful for the outstanding care provided and would highly recommend this hospital to others.
